Strong alliance enhances added value of the industrial chain - Technical analysis of the first phase fruit processing production line in Xiuwen Kiwi Industrial Park assisted by Shanghai Beyond Machine
In 2017, it was a crucial year for China's deep processing of agricultural products to transition from primary circulation to high value-added processing. Guizhou Xiuwen kiwifruit, known as the "king of fruits" and "king of vitamin C", has ushered in an important moment of industrial upgrading. Xiuwen County is located in the hinterland of central Guizhou, and the main variety "Guichang" is carefully selected from local wild kiwifruit. The flesh is emerald green, sweet and sour, and has a unique flavor. The flesh is rich in vitamin C (103 to 139 milligrams per 100 grams) and selenium elements. However, bottlenecks in industrial development such as short freshness period of fresh fruits and uneven commodity fruit rates are becoming increasingly apparent. In response to this dilemma, the Xiuwen County Kiwi Science and Technology Park project has officially launched, with a planned area of 300 acres, including functional areas such as ingredient selection line workshops and controlled atmosphere warehouses. As a small fruit variety, kiwifruit faces three core pain points in the deep processing process: the first is the yield issue. Taking prickly pear as an example, the traditional processing yield is only 55% to 60%. Beyond has equipped the Xiuwen kiwi fruit deep processing production line with its independently developed and widely recognized dual channel pulping machine and scraper refining machine in the industry. The traditional fruit and vegetable pulping process often requires heating pretreatment to improve juice yield, but the heating process can seriously damage valuable thermosensitive nutrients such as vitamin C, vitamin E, and folate in kiwifruit. The Beyond dual channel pulping machine has achieved significant technological breakthroughs in this regard - there is no need to preheat kiwifruit before pulping, but a two-stage pulping process is adopted, which not only significantly improves the fineness of the pulp, but also further efficiently separates the fruit residue. This device is particularly suitable for the needs of de nucleating and pulping separation of berry fruits (kiwi, strawberry, etc.).
The refining process also uses our own scraper refining machine, which is used to automatically separate the fruit pulp that has been preliminarily crushed for a second time, meeting the demand for higher quality refining. Through modular equipment configuration and flexible switching of production process routes, the same production hardware platform can meet the production needs of two different forms of products, kiwifruit juice and kiwifruit wine (vinegar).
