A Plate HTST Pasteurizer (4 Sections) is a type of pasteurization equipment used in the food and beverage industry to heat-treat liquids such as milk, juice, and beer.

The acronym HTST stands for High-Temperature Short-Time, which refers to the process of rapidly heating the liquid to a high temperature for a short period of time to kill any harmful bacteria or pathogens present.

A Plate HTST Pasteurizer consists of multiple sections, typically four, that are designed to heat and cool the liquid in a controlled manner. The liquid flows through a series of stainless steel plates where it comes in contact with heated or chilled surfaces. This allows for efficient heat transfer and precise temperature control.

The four sections of a Plate HTST Pasteurizer generally include:

Preheating section: In this section, the liquid is preheated to a specific temperature, often around 50-60°C, before entering the main heating section.

Heating section: This section is where the liquid is rapidly heated to its desired pasteurization temperature, typically between 72-85°C, depending on the product.

Holding section: After reaching the desired pasteurization temperature, the liquid is held at this temperature for a specified time, usually around 15-30 seconds, to ensure effective microbial reduction.

Cooling section: In the final section, the liquid is rapidly cooled down to a safe temperature before being transferred to storage or packaging.

Plate HTST Pasteurizers are widely used in the food and beverage industry due to their efficiency, compact size, and ability to maintain product quality while ensuring food safety.

Usage:


This machine stands between the pasteurizer and the UHT, can be used for PET hot filling or roof shape filling sterilize.

Semi-automatic control: UK Spirax Sarco steam pressure reduce valve, German Burkert or Spirax Sarco temperature control system, German Labom temperature transducer, Anthone temperature recorder without paper, South hot water pump, Siemens LOGO control, the precision of temperature control is ±0.5 degree.
Full automatic control: UK Spirax Sarco steam pressure reduce valve, German Burkert or Spirax Sarco temperature control system, German Labom temperature transducer, Anthone temperature recorder without paper, South hot water pump, Siemens PLC full automatic control with touch screen, the precision of temperature control is ±0.5 degree.

This HTST stands between the pasteurizer and the UHT, the production procedures are as following: 5℃→65℃(homogenization)→120℃(15S)→25℃/5℃.can be used for PET hot filling or roof shape filling sterilize.

HTST pasteurizer, made of SUS304 stainless steel, is used to sterilize, which is equipped with auto CIP washing system controlled by SIEMENS PLC. The sterilization is carried out at temperature of 95/125 for 300S/15s and the temperature of input is 5 with 43/5 discharged. The temperature controller is used the Spax steam reducer valve and control valve with TEMPRESS temperature sense from Denmark. The control box is used the FUJI button from Japan with SIEMENS components. This system has alarm function in high temperature and resume in low temperature. Materials flow in no less than 1kg/cm2 to guarantee all process parameters.
