An extraction tank, also known as an extractor or extraction vessel, is a container or apparatus used in various industries for the process of extracting desired compounds or substances from raw materials. The extraction can be performed using different techniques such as solvent extraction, steam distillation, or supercritical fluid extraction.
In industries like pharmaceuticals, herbal medicine production, food processing, and essential oil manufacturing, extraction tanks are commonly used. These tanks are designed to hold the raw material and the extracting solvent or medium to facilitate the separation process. Depending on the specific application, extraction tanks may have different features such as agitation mechanisms, temperature control systems, and pressure regulation capabilities.
The extracted substances obtained from the extraction tank are often further processed, purified, or concentrated before being used in various applications.
Tea Extraction Tank
This extracting tank is used to extract tea from the tea leaves, or make medicine from herbal medicine. All the tank wall is made of high quality SUS304-2B stainless steel, the jacket adopts high density of PU as insulation and was made out of new procedures; this tank can use steam to heat the product inside with steam or hot water inside of the dimple pad; the paddle type agitator is mounted from top at the center; other standard attachments such as: airtight manhole, high and low level probe, temperature sensor, the extracted liquid product is discharged from bottom outlet; dregs are also discharged from bottom where a net is fixed to separate the dreg from the liquid product; the top cover is elliptical type and bottom base is of conical types. Pneumatic discharge device can be added according to the customer's requirement.
